About Us

Adore! Textile Arts is a collaborative initiative operating in Amsterdam & Berlin, aiming to educate and inspire people of all ages to think about their relationship with their clothing and foster an appreciation for textile craftsmanship.

Through engaging talks, workshops and camps, we make the truth and issues about the fashion industry accessible to all. We incorporate creative hands-on activities that bring people together to discuss the environmental and social issues that the fashion industry faces and encourage participants to enjoy the slow art of textiles.

Alice and Caitie have been working together and individually in education, fashion and textiles for over 10 years and have collaborated with various businesses and institutions such as Nike, Primark, The Fashion for Good Museum, Fashion Takes Action, UWC Atlantic College, and the Berlin Recycling Festival. They are both working towards a Master‘s degree in Sustainable Fashion through Falmouth University to add to their expertise on this multifaceted topic.

Our Mission

We want to live in a world where fashion is a more thoughtful part of our lives, and without detriment to the environment or the people who’s shoulders the industry lies upon. The current multi-trillion dollar fashion industry is not doing enough when it comes to environmental and social responsibility, and continuously misleads consumers in an effort to keep their profits safe.

Our educational talks and workshops give people a fuller picture of the realities of this industry, with the knowledge to make more informed choices, tools to care for what we have, and steps to fight against a system that does not align with our values.

We believe everyone can play a part in a more responsible, slow fashion future. We give people young and old the tools to make informed decisions, better understand the impact of clothing, and fall in the love with the art of textiles!
